About Rochester Pride
A community-run celebration of love, identity, and belonging in the heart of Rochester.
Our story
Born from community, built with love
Rochester Pride was founded in 2026 by a group of passionate local people who wanted to create a truly inclusive LGBTQ+ celebration in the heart of Rochester, Kent.
We are entirely volunteer-run, community-funded, and proudly independent. Every penny raised goes back into making the festival as welcoming, safe, and joyful as possible.
Rochester Pride 2027 will be our very first festival. We're planning live performances, a parade through the High Street, workshops, family activities, and a night-time after party — all at a venue to be confirmed.
